A number of religious groups claim to be Christian, but have distorted basic Christian theology to such a degree that the group (or at least part of their theology) can no longer be considered Christian. Christian theology comes from the writings of the Old and New Testaments. Any religious writings that contradict or distort those writings is heretical and must be corrected by the Church, hence this site.
Can we choose our own salvation? In short, we cannot choose or accept Christ, as so many churches claim. This is fully covered in The Anti-Gospel, which you can download from this site (scroll down to about halfway down the page).
